Key qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Prior experience working in school-based settings or healthcare environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric assessment, IEP development, and therapy planning for students
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to support students’ functional, motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development
  • Participate as a key member of IEP teams, providing input and progress reports aligned with student goals
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies in the classroom and at home
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district policies related to therapy delivery
