Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Prior experience in a school setting, managing caseloads across varying age groups and needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable adapting to change and jumping into a dynamic environment
  • Able to travel between school sites as an itinerant provider
  • Motivated to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, student-centered occupational therapy services to meet educational goals
  • Complete evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student participation and learning
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Serve students at multiple schools, primarily within the San Clemente or Mission Viejo areas (assignment based on need)
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders
