Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to a rewarding contract role supporting students in the Reno area for the upcoming school year! This opportunity places you in a dynamic educational environment, working directly on-site across multiple schools to help K-12 students achieve their fullest potential.

You’ll manage a manageable caseload of approximately 50-55 students, providing a balanced mix of therapy services, evaluations, and assessments. With assignments spanning 3-4 campuses, you’ll gain exposure to a diverse student population and a variety of school settings, making each day meaningful and engaging.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Nevada Occupational Therapy (OT) license required prior to start
  • Prior experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy, preferably with K-12 populations
  • Ability to efficiently manage a caseload and adapt to different campus environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Completion of fingerprinting and drug screening as part of credentialing requirements
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions for students, aiming to enhance participation in academic and daily activities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
