Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant Washington district for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, on-site contract role offers the opportunity to work closely across the district, collaborating with another dedicated OT professional to deliver essential services.

As one of just two Occupational Therapists in the district, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, while also partnering with staff to implement effective Tier 1 supports. The environment is supportive, with an emphasis on hands-on engagement and collaborative problem-solving. This position requires an in-person approach; virtual delivery or COTA coverage will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Washington State Occupational Therapy License/Certification
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to support and deliver Tier 1 OT strategies for staff and students
  • Experience managing a moderate caseload and adapting interventions to individual needs
  • Dependable professional references are required and will be verified (ensure they are included on your application)
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct Occupational Therapy services to a diverse student caseload
  • Develop individualized intervention plans and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate extensively with educators, parents, and support staff to design effective supports
  • Contribute to school and district-wide initiatives for student well-being
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all services delivered
