Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure for the state of Oklahoma
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Demonstrated experience working as an OT within schools or pediatric settings
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 Plans, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to efficiently manage a caseload and complete required documentation
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to support academic success and independence
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to ensure continuity of care and progress toward goals
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
