Step into a rewarding contract position as a school-based Occupational Therapist providing vital support to students in a dynamic educational setting near Mesa, AZ. This full-time role spans 40 hours per week, beginning July 27, 2026, and continuing through May 2027. You'll collaborate with educators and families to help students succeed both academically and functionally. Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license
  • Valid AZ fingerprint clearance card
  • Experience providing OT services in a school environment strongly preferred
  • Understanding of IEPs and school-based therapy processes
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to students based on their needs and IEP goals
  • Assess students’ functional skills and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Document services provided and track student progress in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the changing requirements of each student
