Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of California
  • Proven experience working in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong knowledge of assessments, interventions, and documentation for school-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
  • Proficient in adapting activities and environments to meet diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Comfortable managing a dynamic caseload and conducting both individual and group sessions
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine students’ strengths and areas for growth
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, both in and out of the classroom
  • Monitor and document progress, updating intervention plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting and progress reviews
  • Offer training and resources to educators and families to promote carryover of strategies
