Qualifications & Experience:

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain before start date)

Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress reporting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Excellent organization and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess students’ fine and gross motor skills to identify needs and set goals

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s educational objectives

Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs

Participate in IEP meetings, sharing observations and recommendations with faculty and families

Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress notes, and compliance with regulatory standards

Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure student progress

Guide classroom staff in integrating occupational therapy strategies into daily routines
