Pay Rate: $44-$55 (Based on Experience) / $36-$42 (Based on experience)
Schedule: Part-Time (14 Hours per Week)

End Date: June 11, 2027
Work Setting: Onsite
Days: 2 Days per Week (Flexible Monday–Friday)
Hours: 7:45 AM–3:15 PM with a 30-Minute Unpaid Lunch
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide part-time coverage for the 2026–2027 school year in Valparaiso, Indiana. This onsite opportunity offers 14 hours per week across two school sites.
The schedule consists of two flexible days per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM–3:15 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated OT or COTA seeking a consistent part-time schedule in a supportive school-based environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students based on their individual needs and IEP goals
Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions, as appropriate
Monitor student progress and modify interventions as appropriate
Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and environmental modifications as needed
Perform all duties expected of a school-based Occupational Therapist or COTA
Qualifications:
Active Indiana Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passion for supporting student growth, independence, and functional development
