School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) | Golden, CO
Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based opportunity in the Golden, Colorado area for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year.
This is a great opportunity for an OT who is passionate about helping students develop essential skills and succeed in an educational environment. The district offers a collaborative setting with opportunities to work with students across different grade levels and needs.
Position Details
Location: Golden and Evergreen, CO
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week); part-time may be considered
Setting: School-based
Grade Levels: Must be flexible to work with various age groups
Caseload: Varies based on student needs and a workload-based service model
School Assignments: Flexibility across school locations is required
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse developmental, physical, sensory, and educational needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers.
Conduct assessments and recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations.
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and functional independence skills.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Active Colorado Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred.
Ability to work with students across various ages and disability categories.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Flexibility to work across different school settings and assignments.
