Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Nevada
  • Previous experience working within school settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and appropriate documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Organizational skills for managing caseloads across various age groups
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ strengths and needs through formal and informal evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective intervention plans tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
  • Provide both direct therapy and consultative services in classroom and individual settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students
