Step into a dynamic role providing essential support to elementary students as an Occupational Therapist on a full-time contract basis starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple elementary schools, working with a diverse caseload of approximately 80 students. Your dedication and expertise will help students reach their fullest potential, collaborating with teachers and staff to foster growth and independence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license valid for California.
  • National certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children.
  • Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload across multiple school sites.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to supporting students’ academic, social, and developmental success.
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs and progress.
  • Develop personalized therapy plans and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Consult and collaboratively problem-solve with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress, therapy sessions, and documentation required by the district.
  • Travel between assigned elementary schools as required to support student needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and accommodations.
