Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school-based setting. This position focuses on providing individualized, one-on-one occupational therapy services to help students achieve their goals and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in the state

Prior experience delivering OT in a school environment is highly valued

Strong background in 1:1 student support and developing individualized treatment plans

Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families

Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and provide direct OT services to students, following their IEPs

Design and implement individualized strategies and interventions, tailored to each student’s unique needs

Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required

Serve as a knowledgeable resource for teachers and staff, offering guidance on accommodations and sensory strategies

Foster independence in daily school activities, supporting students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills

Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and the educational team to share progress and collaborate on student growth
