Telehealth Position: Full-Time School Occupational Therapist (NM PED Required)

This position may be a great fit!  A school district in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area has a full-time job opening for an exceptional occupational therapist! This is a work-from-home telehealth position for the current school year.

Details:

• Full-time
• 30 students
• Current semester

Duties: 

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

Applicant Credentials:

• MUST be a licensed Occupational Therapist in New Mexico
  • Must have the NM PED license
  • Candidates who do not have their active license will not be considered
• Candidates MUST have at least 2 years of onsite school experience 
• Experience with teletherapy is preferred
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Candidates must conduct themselves professionally
• Tech-savvy
• Organized and patient

Technology Requirements:

• A computer that is less than 5 years old 
• A working web camera
• High-speed internet capabilities
• Candidates must go through a short tech-screening
