Are you an Occupational Therapist in the Thornton, Colorado area? Are you searching for a school-based position? Are you interested in a short-term job opening?

We are working with a school district in the area to find a qualified OT. This is a full-time job opening for an onsite position that is guaranteed to last 6 weeks and may be extended to the end of the school year. You will be working with students in elementary grade levels. You would be working with an OT to provide makeup services. You would meet directly with current OT and they would assign out specific students

The district is looking for a talented Occupational Therapist to provide standard services to students such as these: 

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

Requirements:

• Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
• Ability to come onsite

Additional Qualifications:

• Previous school or pediatric experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Candidates must conduct themselves professionally
• Organized and patient
