Seeking Full-Time Occupational Therapist - Job Opening for Current School Year - Westminster, CO 

Sunbelt Staffing has a full-time job opening for a skilled OT in the Westminster, Colorado area! Sunbelt Staffing is teaming up with a school district in the vicinity to find talented candidates. Applicants should be prepared to be onsite, though the school district will be following all health mandates and may be virtual. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. 

Position Details:

• Primarily compensatory services
  • Work directly with current OT
  • They will assign specific students
• 2 elementary schools 
• Approximately 30 students 
• Mild to moderate disabilities
  • Health impairments
  • Intellectual disabilities
  • ASD

Occupational Therapist Role:

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

Requirements: 

• Active CO Occupational Therapist license 
• Colorado Department of Education license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Organized and patient
