School Occupational Therapist Job Opening | Current School Year | Minneapolis, MN 

Sunbelt Staffing has a full-time position for a talented OT in the Minneapolis, MN area! Sunbelt Staffing is teaming up with a school district in the vicinity to find exceptional candidates.

This is a full-time position for the current school at 30 hours per week. The OT will be working with students with mild to moderate disabilities. Applicants should be prepared to be onsite, though the school district will be following all health mandates and may be virtual.

Responsibilities:

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

Required:

• Minnesota Occupational Therapist license
• Previous school or pediatric experience

Preferred Credentials:

• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Organized and reliable
