School-Based Occupational Therapist | Full-Time Job Opening in Renton, WA

A school district in the Renton area has a full-time job opening for an exceptional OT! Candidates should be prepared to be onsite, though the school district will be following all health mandates and may be virtual, or utilizing a hybrid schedule. 

Job Details:

• 40 hours per week
• Small District
• Pre K-12th grade
• 35 student caseload
• Supervision of a strong COTA
• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

For candidates to be considered for this position you must have the following qualifications:

• Occupational Therapist license in Washington from WA Dept of Health
• At least 1 year of school experience or pediatric experience
• ESA Certificate is strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Organized and patient
