ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with K-12 students in the Peterborough, NH school district. This is a full-time, onsite position that runs through the 2024-2025 school year, offering a rewarding opportunity to support students' educational and functional success.

Position Details:

  • Caseload: K-12 students with a range of occupational therapy needs. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to help students improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behaviors to support their academic performance.
  • Hours: 36.25 hours per week, following the school calendar.
  • Location: Onsite in Peterborough, NH schools.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized therapy plans for students.
  • Work directly with students to provide therapy services aimed at improving motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills.
  • Monitor student progress and report findings to the supervising OT.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students are meeting their goals.

    Qualifications:

  • NH COTA License: Must have an active license in the state of New Hampshire.
  • School Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and families.
  • Must complete onsite fingerprinting as required by the school district.

    Non-Negotiables:

  • Must have an active COTA license in NH.
  • Fingerprinting is required by the district.
