Job Description:

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Greenfield, NH. This school-based position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with students, helping them develop the skills necessary to succeed in their educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in conducting assessments of students' fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, to improve their ability to participate in school activities.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to treatment activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environments.
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed, providing input on student progress and therapy needs.
  • Educate students, staff, and parents on strategies to enhance functional independence and participation in school activities.

    Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in New Hampshire.
  • Previous experience in a pediatric or school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
