Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team in Daly City, CA. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services that help students develop and improve their daily living skills, fine motor skills, and sensory processing abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing therapy plans for students.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Support students in improving their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Document therapy sessions and track student progress.
  • Prepare and maintain therapy materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on student progress and therapy needs.

    Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.
  • Valid California COTA license.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow the direction of a supervising OT.
