Job Description: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Position Details:

Hours: 19.5 hours per week (3 days)

Schedule: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: June 26, 2025

Location: Massachusetts

Caseload:

Preschool (Compensatory Services) initially

Elementary Caseload thereafter

Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, teachers, and other staff to support student needs.

Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with staff and families as required.

Adapt interventions to meet the developmental and educational goals of preschool and elementary students.

Requirements:

Active COTA certification in Massachusetts.

Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged students is preferred.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
