Now Hiring: Full-Time Occupational Therapist | ASD Caseload | Jamaica Plain, MA

Sunbelt Staffing has a full-time job opening for a skilled OT in the Jamaica Plain area! Sunbelt Staffing is teaming up with a school district in the vicinity to find talented candidates. Applicants should be prepared to be onsite, though the school district will be following all health mandates and may be virtual. This is a full-time position at 32.5 hours per week. 

Position Details:

• 2-3 schools 
• Approximately 45-50 students 
• Autism Spectrum Disorder caseload
• We will work with assigning buildings within walking distance for applicants who take public transportation 

Occupational Therapist Role:

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

Requirements: 

• Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous school or pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience with ASD preferred 
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Organized and patient
