Occupational Therapist (OT) – Leave of Absence

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to cover a leave of absence in Farmington, MI. This temporary position will support an early childhood program, providing essential occupational therapy services to young children. The role is crucial in ensuring that students receive continuous support during this period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the fine and gross motor skills of young children.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to children in an early childhood setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support children’s developmental goals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Adapt therapy techniques and activities to suit the developmental needs of early childhood students.

    Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Michigan.
  • Previous experience working with early childhood populations preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively with young children and collaborate with educational staff and families.
