Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location: Monroe, WA (35 miles NE of Seattle)

Position: Full-Time or Part-Time

Dates: ASAP – June 2025

Compensation: $70 - $75 bill rate per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Monroe, WA, located approximately 35 miles northeast of Seattle. This position is available for both full-time and part-time work, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 2025. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and compassionate professional with a valid WA license and current fingerprints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct therapeutic activities to help patients improve their daily living and work skills.
  • Document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to support patient goals and enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and protocols.

    Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
  • Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Washington State.
  • Current fingerprint clearance and background check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred but not required.
