Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time, school-based position in Daly City, CA. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to assist students in improving their ability to perform tasks in their educational environment. This role includes implementing therapy plans, supporting sensory and motor skill development, and collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans aimed at enhancing students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state and school guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.

    Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Active COTA license in California.
  • School-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
