Sunbelt Staffing has a full-time position for a talented OT in the Lakewood, Colorado area! Sunbelt Staffing is teaming up with a school district in the vicinity to find exceptional candidates. Applicants should be prepared to be onsite, though the school district will be following all health mandates and may be virtual. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. 

Position Details:

• Direct services 
• Evaluations
• 1 elementary school 
• Mild to moderate disabilities

Duties:

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

Credentials:

• CO Occupational Therapist license 
• CO Department of Education license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Organized and reliable
