Interviewing Now: Full-Time Occupational Therapist - Seattle, Washington 

A school district in the Georgetown area of Seattle has a full-time position for a skilled Occupational Therapist! Applicants should be prepared to be onsite, though the school district will be following all health mandates and may be virtual, or utilizing a hybrid schedule. 

This is a small school district with only 5 buildings total. Students range from PreK-12th grade. They are an extremely supportive district. This position would be for 35 hours per week, and have 35 students on the caseload. 

Job Details:

• Supervision of a strong COTA
• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

For candidates to be considered for this position you must have the following qualifications:

• Occupational Therapist license in Washington from WA Department of Health

Preferred Qualifications: 

• School experience or pediatric experience is preferred
• ESA Certificate is strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Organized and patient
