Immediate Opening: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Soliant is working with a school district in Rhode Island to fill a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position for the remainder of the current school year. This role is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will continue through June 23, 2025. The position supports an elementary school caseload, primarily serving PreK students. Candidates with experience in Assistive Technology are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy support under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans for elementary and PreK students
Utilize assistive technology tools to support student engagement and access
Monitor and document student progress
Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families
Work onsite from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active Rhode Island COTA license
Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Background in Assistive Technology required
Strong organizational and communication skills
