We have a full-time job opening for a skilled OT in the Aurora, Colorado area! Sunbelt Staffing is teaming up with a school district in the vicinity to find talented candidates. Applicants should be prepared to be onsite, though the school district will be following all health mandates and may be virtual. This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week.
Position Details:
- Primarily compensatory services
Occupational Therapist Role:
- Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
- Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
- Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes
Requirements:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Colorado Department of Education license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically
- Organized and patient
