Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Caseload: Elementary caseload across two schools, travel required

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Espanola, NM. This full-time position requires providing occupational therapy services to elementary students across two schools, with travel between locations. The role is available immediately and extends through May 23, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students across two school settings.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Assist students in achieving their therapy goals, focusing on enhancing their daily living skills and overall functional abilities.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ therapeutic needs and integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and treatment plans.

Travel between two schools as required to provide consistent and effective therapy services.

Qualifications:

Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.

Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or clinical setting is preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.

Ability to adapt to various school environments and manage a diverse caseload.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between school locations.
