About the Position
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Highlands, TX, and provide essential therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Key Responsibilities

Assist the Occupational Therapist (OT) in delivering therapy services to students with diverse needs.

Implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success.

Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications

Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.

Current Texas state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience with or willingness to learn about diverse student needs.

Proficiency in technology for documentation and virtual therapy when necessary.
