COTA Responsibilities:

Support the OT in delivering therapy sessions to students

Assist students in developing physical, social, and academic skills

Document student progress and collaborate with the OT and school staff

OT Responsibilities:

Perform student assessments and develop personalized treatment plans

Provide therapy aimed at improving students’ physical and academic abilities

Keep detailed records and communicate progress to parents and staff

Qualifications:

COTA: Certification and state licensure

OT: Master’s degree and state licensure

Experience in a school setting is preferred
