COTA Responsibilities:

Assist in therapy services under the guidance of an OT

Support students in developing skills for academic and social success

Document progress and collaborate with staff and families

OT Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans

Provide therapy to improve physical, academic, and social abilities

Maintain detailed records and communicate progress with staff and parents

Qualifications:

COTA: Certification, state licensure

OT: Master’s degree, state licensure

School experience preferred for both roles
