We are currently looking for a certified occupational therapy assistant to work with a school district near Olympia, Washington. This is a great opportunity for the upcoming school year with a strong level of support on staff. This is a full time role that will work K-12. More caseload details are being finalized by the district and will be given during the interview process!
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Student Development: Helping students with fine motor skills (like writing or using scissors), gross motor skills (like balance and coordination), and sensory processing.
Implementing Therapy Plans: Carrying out the treatment plans created by the OT, using therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to each student’s needs.
Classroom Modifications: Assisting in adapting classroom materials or environments to make learning more accessible, such as providing special seating or pencil grips.
