Job Description:

A well-regarded school district near Martinsville, VA, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their team! This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to support students in developing essential skills to thrive in the classroom and beyond. Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and providing therapy to students with diverse needs

Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress

Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create a positive, supportive environment

Requirements:

Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Active COTA certification in Virginia

Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
