Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location: Oxon Hill, Maryland, is a vibrant community located just south of Washington, D.C. Nestled along the banks of the Potomac River, it offers residents and visitors a mix of suburban tranquility and urban proximity. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with school-based teams to assess students' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings.

Implement strategies to enhance students' participation and success in the academic environment.

Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and maintain accurate records of student performance.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the overall well-being of students.

Qualifications:

Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices and special education regulations.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.

Experience:

Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.

New graduates with a passion for working in schools are encouraged to apply.
