Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in conducting assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.

Implement personalized treatment plans to address students' individual needs and promote participation in classroom activities.

Provide direct therapy services to students, conducting therapeutic activities and interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' success and participation in educational tasks.

Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and student progress.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

State licensure or eligibility as a COTA.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.

Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not mandatory.
