Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role with school districts in the Augusta, GA area. Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Hold current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Georgia.

Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance from an accredited program.

Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

As a COTA, you will:

Provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).

Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.

Conduct therapeutic activities to improve students’ motor, sensory, and daily living skills.

Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district policies.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.

Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to care plans.
