Job Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with middle school students in Banta, California. In this full-time position, you’ll provide therapy to help students enhance their motor, sensory, and functional skills, enabling them to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Therapy Services:
Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to middle school students, focusing on motor coordination, sensory processing, and daily life skills.
Implement IEP Goals:
Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to implement and adjust therapy plans that align with each student’s IEP goals.
Collaborate with Staff:
Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure therapy goals are integrated into the classroom environment and students receive consistent support.
Document Progress:
Maintain detailed records of therapy activities, track student progress, and communicate findings with the supervising OT, teachers, and families.
