Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ($35-40/hr)

Position Overview
As a COTA within the school system, you will:

Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OTs), teachers, and school staff to implement therapy plans that address students' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
Assist in delivering therapy services aimed at improving students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities within the classroom environment.
Adapt educational materials and tools to support students with diverse needs, ensuring accessibility and inclusion.
Monitor and document students' progress, providing detailed reports to guide ongoing therapy adjustments.
Support students individually or in small groups to achieve their individualized education program (IEP) goals.
Promote an engaging and safe learning environment that fosters students’ independence and self-confidence.

Schedule is M-F: 8AM-3PM
Will be assisting OT on site
Compensation: $35-40/hr

Qualifications
Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Familiarity with creating a positive and inclusive environment for students with varying needs.
Successful completion of background checks and onboarding requirements.
