Role Overview: We're currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. In this role, you'll work within a school environment, providing invaluable support to Occupational Therapists and delivering essential services to students with diverse needs. Whether you're an experienced COTA or a recent graduate, we encourage you to apply and become part of our supportive team.

Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students' functional abilities and needs.

Support in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and goals.

Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' progress and functional skills.

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

Hold an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance or related field.

Possess current state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligibility for certification.

Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
