Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team near Sacramento, CA. This is a full-time position with a caseload primarily consisting of K-12 students. Experience working with moderate to severe cases is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing therapy plans and interventions for students with a variety of disabilities.
  • Collaborate with the school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving their motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' therapy goals and progress.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students is preferred.
  • Experience with moderate to severe cases is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
