Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate COTA to join our team in Issaquah, WA for a full-time position with a caseload of 50 students throughout the entire school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including assessments, goal setting, and therapy sessions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, and IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Virginia.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
