Associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.

Licensure through the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department.

Successful completion of the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) exam.

Completion of supervised clinical fieldwork.

Background check and fingerprint clearance required for school employment.

As a full-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Moriarty, NM, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student population for the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out therapy activities as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Work with K-12 students to enhance fine motor, visual-motor, and self-help skills.

Maintain documentation of student progress and collaborate on IEP goals.

Engage with educators and families to integrate therapy into the learning environment.

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district standards for school-based services.
