Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - School-Based
Accomack, VA

We are currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated team in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and supporting their success through occupational therapy interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized therapy programs for students.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of licensed therapists.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to address sensory, motor, and developmental concerns.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other team members to support students' overall development and progress.

Qualifications:

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification.
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
